Couldn't disagree more, how is being nice ever going to instill the type of rage motivation to become any better and seek revenge in the virtual sky?If you suck at the game you should be told so in no uncertain terms, this PC no personal attacks nonsense is part of the reason the numbers are so low. How the hell are new players going to be motivated to become better if its their $14?
Was helping a noob today who made his first safe landing, got his first kill, and his first landed kill. Fun to see someone so excited about the game.
Well I think the best way to ID the new folks would be in their Icon...less than 2 months there would be an id mark only his country could see....It would also aid squads knowing who's new and might be a potential new squad member.

the other problem is most new guys don't know about this forum until after they quit. I remember playing the game for 6 months before I joined the bbs. no one told me about it. ask a lot of guys today and some of the older players still don't know about this place!
