Shame you had a disco also toad.  :(

I have noticed when you turn the Task Groups they make several "adjusting" turns before they settle in on the waypoint you assigned.

That may have been the problem.

WOW,WHAT FUN!!!!

I was assigned to Funkedup squad.
We heard a call enemy was 4,17,4 ( or was it 4,18,4?). And we got the ok to check it out, as we turned NW, I saw a SHEETLOAD of dots slightly higher and a SHEETLOAD lower to the west ( sorry called EAST in my excitment). I screamed over RW the cons, and was first in.... AS i rev'ed to get back to my wingman (Durr) I didn't relise the setup was D3.0 and as i turned i saw F6f's 1.9 my 6 and closing... all i could do was try to shake and bake,, I pinged up 2 and spired down pulling 4 with me.... after about 15-20 minutes of my hand slipping off the joystick from the persperation I succumed to the F6f's <S> to the 2 that got me EXCELLENT teamwork! Just as i got a bead on one i had to break from the other on my 6, rinse/repeat. One hellofa dogfight.

My appologies to My Wingman, and FL who i let down. We will get em next time. At least we pulled the fighter cap down.

Funkedup, anytime you need my services I'm available.

Daddog,

Turns out my cable ISP has been having fits. Incredible that they pick that moment in the TOD to puke all over.

It was still intermittent all day Saturday. On/Off.

Certainly not HTC's fault.

As I said I had fun. My beady little eyes were all alight with anticipation when I saw the hit flashes on the F4U.  :)

It was definitely an embarassing moment.  Nuttz reported cons over the rw and we turned to intercept. (btw when nuttz says he was a excited and screamed over the rw, that is the understatement of the year, my eardrum is still bleeding I think) Turned out they were a whole bunch of Hellcats and they had some altitude on us.  I looked back and saw Nuttz engaging them so I turned to fight but before I could get to him 3 of them came after me.  After dogfighting for what seemed an eternity (maybe 1 min) my aircraft took fatal damage and I had to hit the silk.  I was really embarassed that I didnt at least take one of them with me, but it was fun anyway.  Eagerly awaiting the next TOD.
