I downloaded AH3 on Steam VR. However I don't get an option to log into my original account. Any ideas?

steam and HTC  accounts are not tied together.  if you log in from steam it's a new account.

you can login to the game through the desktop icon for 5he DX11 version of the game and it will ask if you want to use your VR

Cheers, my issue is that even though I thought I had the Rift running beautifully, through Steam it's a different animal. May just have to delete my account and start over with the steam download.

There is no need to download AH on steam.

If you have oculus installed correctly , Start the dx11 version of AH an it will prompt you if you wish to run VR mode.

Cheers Hitec, I have it running well on the original download, I've had to do plenty of fiddling to get it to run as it's a Dk2, but now it works really nicely. I just saw a little more smoothness in the steam version. Perhaps it was my imagination, or maybe there is something like the Oculus Asynchronous Spacewarp in Steam that is having an impact.

If you wish to use openvr simply say no to the Oculus prompt and it then should prompt for the openvr.
