If ya wanna fly Japanese with the FDBs, you're welcome to it.  I think all Fatty has to do is put you in the roster as a guest for our squad.  No squeaking about us all flying off in different directions, getting lost, and/or dying quickly tho'!

Fatty, whaddya know?

Skurj,

I have the same problem.  I work 48hrs on and 48hrs off so my days off always change.  Makes it a squeak eh?  Sign up as a guest or join a squad for the TOD and work out when you can be there  :)
I am going to get on the Roster for Mag-33 but if I didn't I would sign up as a guest and see where I could fly.

Hey -- it worked for me. As soon as you know, try to contact someone.  some squads fill their guest slots as late as T-2hrs.
Friday night's hard on everybody.  You mean I have to admit to having no life?

Hey SOB, thanx, i just don't want you guys to add me to the roster and then end up shorthanded when I can't make it...

But if that doesn't matter, I was hoping to fly japanese anyways! +)

No walkons means a single CM can handle setup for the tod. No walkons means everyone has their orders, and knows where they are going. It makes it a much more enjoyable experience for everyone with a LOT less work for the CM staff.

As originally proposed the current TOD would have been MUCH more difficult to get in. More of an "elitist" event. banana, daddog myself & others put it all on the line to bring you the current TOD. Also to make it possible for everyone to fly.

Most squads will accept guests, pick a night, sign up in advance and come join the fun.

Speak up if you want in and I'll add you to the roster.  Is no big deal if you don't show, now of those others tulips on our list do either.

Err, that's all I need to do, right Daddog?

I think 'no walkons' is one of the best 'features' of the TOD series.  In every scenario I've ever attended, herding and breifing walkons has been a big pain (even when I'm not personally involved), and in many cases a major waste of time.

You got it fatty.  :)

Just remember if you start having a lot of "no shows" you will run into problems. If you list 11-15 for example and 5 guys show up you are hurting your side and could even lose your spot in the TOD.

Keep your numbers accurate.
