Please switch to country Bishop and report to A24
tower.  If you are in a Scenario squad, then please
withdraw to join a Racing Team.  Players in Racing
Team colors (Silver or Gold) are required for official
score.  Please be in arena 30 minutes prior to event
for Team Rosters.



Aircraft - TBM

Race Setup:
Players will fly the same bomber aircraft with torpedos only
to sink as many ships as possible.  Players will launch from
same airfield on the text command GO!!!!.  All ship guns will
be at the least amount of lethality.  This is a one life event
with unlimited rearm and refueling, bombers with drones will
be lost on first rearming and players will have to continue
with single bomber for rest of event.  The event ends when
all ships have been destroyed or all players can no longer
can fly or T + 90. 

Yalid Targets:

Scoring:
Carrier = 1000 points
Cruiser = 500 points
Destroyer = 100 points
Gun = 1 point

Offline or Custom Arena Setup:
Choose Marianas Terrain.  Go to Clipboard and select
Options then Arena Setup and then Fields.  In Left Window
Box, highlight A24 in drop down menu and leave highlighted.
In same Left Box Window, go to lower right box window
marked Current Country and select Bishops.  While A24 is
still highlighted and Bishop then over in Right Window Box
scroll through the plane list and highlight TBM-3.  Keep
TBM-3 highlighted and click either Enable Plane Tab or Enable
At All Fields Tab.

If you can't take off, then go to Options then Arena Setup
then Enviroment then under General tab you will see Country
Flags Bishop.  If you see #2, then click Bishop Country
Flags for left window screen and in box where #2 change
to #3.  That will allow flight.

Players who arrive after Fields Closed or can no longer
fly the event can watch from CM Eye View. Go to clipboard,
click Options, click Controls, click Map Keys, click View
Select CM Eye Move Forward to highlight, click F7 and click
Set Key.  In Tower, click F5 for outside tower view, click
F7 to activate CM Eye Move Forward. Use throttle control for
speed and joystick to move left, right, up, and down.

Get a jump ahead of the new Avengers Endgame film with some Avenger sinking ship action!!!!  Fly your Avenger torpedo bomber and unleash a powerful torpedo that will even sink a single aircraft carrier.  28 CV fleets contained in one single sector.  Even a caveman couldn't miss.

During the event, should you rearm and show no new torpedo, shout out on country text and I will make the necessary changes per individual.

Optimal approach for the event would be staying on the perimeter of the fleets and making hard banking turn away from fleets after releasing torpedo.  Even with the ack set at .001, there will be 168 ships in the area firing at you.  28 carriers, 28 cruisers and 112 destroyers will be on varying courses in the sector.  Some in a contained keypad while others making a circumferential course inside the perimeter of the sector.

From the launch airfield, there will be only a couple of minutes to the target sector.  Rearm will be quick.  Players hitting a ship should see a ship sunk message while RTB or on rearm pad.

Next month will have a slight change for TRA.  Torpedo bomber chosen will have all ords available to quicken the sinking of 28 CV fleets.

The winner of this event will be the first player to sink a CV based on logs.

Thanks to all who participated.     Those who were gone from the event in first few minutes, please let me know what happened.  You can PM if you wish to be silent from the community.  I do want to know if there is any problems that I can address.  Things can get a little hectic sometimes and I try to reach out to all players as humanly as possible.

Torpedo bombing will figure significantly into Midway (the June Scenario).

Registration for it just opened, and more torpedo bombers are needed.
