The interesting thing is that in 1969, the Soviets didn't even bother denying that it happened. They figured nobody would be dense enough to believe that it was a conspiracy. They were also among the few governments possessing the technical ability to track the Apollo 11 capsule on the way to and back from the moon - which they did.

These days the conspiracy theory is more popular than ever, not just among neurologically-deficient Russians, but simpletons the world over. This leads to the obvious conclusion: Have we become dumber, or have the propagandists become better?

Earlier you stated in a another thread that Putin has "already won" in Ukraine.  Do you still believe that Putin has successfully achieved all his war aims in Ukraine?
