Rift not launching aces high
« on: March 04, 2023, 12:14:49 PM »
Good afternoon! so, something has changed somewhere in my absence.
AH will launch, asks if i wish to use oculus i say yes. Then It simply shows the AH place card with Loading forever at the bottom.
I can hear AH through the headset but game will not show through VR. Anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix? Ive allready uninstalled and reinstalled AH hoping that would fix.

Have you by chance installed OpencompositeVR for other games? If so, sadly AH will not run in VR using it. Trying to run the game with that it will do exactly what you're describing, that's why I ask.

If not, there's one thing I've found and that is AH wants to be on top. On the desktop at the bottom, make sure that the AH icon is furthest to the right. If it isn't, click and drag it there. Also make sure it's not minimized.

Make sure in the oculus settings you enable third party apps if you're running the dx11 version. Mine reset at some point and was doing exactly what you're describing
