I have an idea but I think it belongs more in the realm of a scenario or snapshot.
Midway.
The Japanese get 4 cv task groups plus one BB task group.
The Americans get 3 cv task groups plus a small base at Midway.
The objective is to capture Midway for Japan, defend Midway for the Americans.
Once a Cv or BB is sunk, it is out permanently, same goes for Hangers.
For the BB task group, only lvts are enabled.
All man guns will be disabled.
Auto ack set to minimum.
F4Fs, A6M, SBD, D3A, B5N, maybe B17s with no formations, and LVTs.
not a terrible idea, but some stuff would need to be changed. guns would be manable, but once down, would be useless.
i could lower ack, but not set it to minimum. people need to die. this could be something we try at world at war.
the other thing i found is that i can have airspawns for moving carriers. that works. so lots we could do with this.
this could even involve commanders for the carrier groups as well.
