I always wondered why the wingtips caught fire in CFS2... The fire of course goes out and no damage is visible.  Of course we would also like to see the aircraft able to fly after it has lost its whole engine/cowling/prop as well lol +)
Check out the Crusoe campaign, in the first mission, while on my way to land, the engine came off... and i was able to land just fine...

just replace that f4u with an fu4-c and it would be a perfect picture...
