Interesting commentary regarding war in Afghanistan
« on: February 07, 2002, 03:53:40 PM »
I heard this from a commentator on Fox News last night.

"We have a US Special Forces soldier on horseback calling in a airstrike on a satellite phone to a 45 year old B52 dropping very modern JDAM GPS guided munitions."

P.S. I heard Bill O'Reily would be the new moderator of the AH general discussion board.

What photo? You have a photo of the soldier on horseback calling in an airstrike?

That isn't the photo(linked), but I did see a photo of an operative on horseback talking on the radio, supposedly calling in boom-boom.

I don't see the point in titling your thread "Interesting Battle Image from Afganistan(your spelling)", posting a picture series, and making a comment on the series....

.....And then editing it out of your post and pretending like you don't know what the f*ck I am talking about.

That was exactly why I did it :D   ...to have a little fun.

I initially tried to delete my posting but that does not seem to work.

I killed the part about the photo from Afghanistan and kept the other part from the commentator on Fox News. I thought that since I had two topics in the previous post I could delete the one that had already been discussed.

My reply afterwards was merely a humorous afterthought...

Oh and I did correct the spelling of Afghanistan...thanks

Actually with modern technology he could have been in a conference call. Having phone sex and calling in an airstrike at the same time.

Imagine call waiting as well...lol :)
