Gime mo' FFB

Hello

About slip ball, rudder and simulators force feed back system.

Problem is that sim pilot is possible find out skid/slip only looking from the Slip Ball. How about that "Feel the Plane!" stuff?

For the skid / slip FFB I have general idea. How about two vibration pads which you can put to the your flying chair. One pad under left arnold & haunch and one under right...
Ok, lets assum that current AHsupport skid&slip FFB. When Slip Ball is left,  left vibrapad start vibrating. Vibration magnitude depends how much slip ball is off set.
Off course there is certain deadband when ball is near center and pilot dont get any force feed back. Only by lookin pilot can put the ball exactly to the center.

Now its possible keep slip ball at least close center area without direct looking to the ball.

Technical side
How about vibrating motors which you can attach under of you fly chair and/or aside of the your joystick?
You have separate FFB connector HUB-box, which you connect to the PC usb port. Lets say we have four channel HUB  (ffb vibramotor connector).
Vibramotors need more power than usb could provide, so we need external DC power supply which we connect to the FFB HUB-box.

FFB HUB GUI provide tools to assing each channel to the certain ffb effect, like: Skid&Slip, stall buffet, hits, compresing, wind shaking etc feed back.
Ch1&2 (left&right) for the skid/slip ffb. Ch3 for the general fly chair shaking ( Earthquake 10KW-motor  optional). Ch4 for the joystick vibramotor (small one).

These days current swinging FFB sticks feels fun & starnge to me (IMHO).

BTW
I think this kind ffb system could use also for car simulation too.

Just a idea...
