In the previous thread that I created, I had just started reading about this awesome thing called lucid dreaming. I read more, I started doing certain excersizes and really dove into this subject.

http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=15209&referrerid=3089I am proud to say that after a few months, I finally had my first lucid dream ( unexpectedly ) last night. I posted in another forum so I"ll just copy that over to here.
It was short, but amazing! I came home from a social activity *slightly* (heh) intoxicated. I drank a bunch of water to avoid a headache the next day, checked my mail online, then hit the sack around midnight. I've been trying for an LD for a few months now with a little success. My usual routine doesn't involve collapsing on my bed and instantly drifting off like last night. This happened without any chakra excersizes, nothing specific at all... After reading many other LD successes, I found it hard to comprehend a LD actually being as *clear* and so indescribably REAL!
I had a few dreams prior to this event. These dreams were foggy and unclear (like most of my dreams). Somehow I found myself driving down a familiar street in my hometown. Everything is normal.. I even changed the radio station while driving. It seemed about 2-3 minutes later that I began notice some strange things. Cars were driving towards me in the wrong lane AND in the opposite lane. I thought "what the hell is going on!" I had no clue! It FELT SO MUCH like a normal day, nothing in my head said i was dreaming. I looked around the car i was driving, it was my friend's souped up Mustang. "How the hell did I get this ? I can't even drive stick!" Right then it hit me. "I must be dreaming..." I looked at my watch (a reality check I occasionally do during the day). I could see my hands, they were my own. I stopped the car, got out, looked at my feet, smelled the air, looked all around me. It was so real it was scary. I got excited and accidentally woke myself up then .
Sorry for the length.. Now that I know what its like, how real it is, everything, I think I"ll be having some fun in the nights to come Thanks for reading!

It really was an amazing experience.. I had Hooter's chicken wings earlier before I had the alcohol. I'm thinking the hops from the brew (High Life, if brand makes a difference) had a part to play in the thought process.
