I've recently got hold of a "Multimodem MT5600ZDXV" and I have a question about initialisation strings..
Using the "Extra Settings" in the "Advanced Connection Settings" I can quite happily set the modem up for V90 or anything else. I get much better connections in AH if I switch off V90 and set it up for a V34 connection.
How do I do this automatically. I've set up 2 DUN connections for the ISP and the plan was to use the Init string to select the appropriate mode depending on which one I used (1 For Surfing/Downloading or the other Aces High). But... Any changes I make to the Init string is reflected in both DUN connections. Is there anyway to have different DUN connections sending different Init strings to the modem? At the moment I have to keep modifying it depending on what I plan to do.
