Venezuela's government toppled yesterday. Protestors and a military force removed the three-year President, Hugo Chávez.

I did! It was a very good reason to get out of oil service stocks like Haliburton and Nabors :)

I noticed, was suprised there wasn't more here on it.  Isn't every day you see labor unions, business leaders and the military join in a capitalist revolution.

Venezuela has a long history of unstable politics.

I was very surprised this president resigned so soon. Chavez was one of those that instigated the attempted coup against an earlier president.

LOL! The new President has resigned after one day! More protestors took to the streets demanding Chavez be returned to power.

I have seen reports of a fast and furious witchhunt including lots of unlawful detentions,  assault of the cuban embassy and attacks on technical and medical cuban personnel that made some people change their mind fast about the new order and reinstate Chavez in his office.

Sadly the average Venezuelan will be screwed the same, Chavez is a clown and his opponents showed a very sinister face just in 24 hours of government.
