Why is A8 left without an unperked fighter? The Allies attack, I defend, but since I have little time to fly I have few points. The only plane is the Nikki- so I take it up. I do ok, but I have only enough money for the one. You guessed it- lost it finally, then I could no longer defend the island from the air. As there were only a few guys on, and they were trying to take the northern base it would have been nice to be able to fly from the field in a Zeke or Ki-61. I rolled around in an M16, but this is not my idea of fun, so I logged.

Just wondering, was this intentional or an oversight?

Unless I am mistaken A8 is a base without airplanes, that is if the George was their it ought not to of been, they were disabled plane wise to creat a bigger Ocean.

George was enabled. Ah, so no one should have been there anyway, ok. That makes more sense than to force a perk plane use to defend the base- obviously the points don't matter to me unless in a dire situation like that, but it didn't seem to add up. Thanks for the response.

Was wondering about this myself (I was one of the others with Dolomyte/Kieran). What the hey? Gave me a chance to try out the Niki for the first time, and I never use those perkie things anyway. But here's a question: why even have an airfield if it isn't going to have any airplanes?

Yes, I decided to take the first George up with bombs and sink the cruiser. I hit it, but of course it wasn't enough and I died to the ack.

Fact is, the bad guys (what few there were) wanted that base, had a fleet there to take it, and I wanted a fight. I chose to fight them as they were the only people flying in the arena at the time, and when the last of my points were gone (only had enough for two planes) I was left with the M16. Got a few of them, but flying's what I came to do, so...

Maybe I'm whining, but if there are only a few guys in there, I wanna be able to fight them wherever they are.
