What about India and Pakistan?

Everyone seems to be awfully concerned about Irak and Iran, yet we have an imminent threat of a nuclear war between India and Pakistan..

I don't know about nukes.  They'll catch uber hell if they're used.

Personally, I want to side with India on this.  We (the USA) keep telling other countries like India and Israel to show restraint, to back down, to use diplomacy, but we don't ourselves.

Diplomacy is nice, but having a double standard is just embarassing to no end.  I would rather people hate me because I'm their open enemy than hate me because I'm a backstabber.

Well the UK foreign ministry is pulling all englishmen out of Pakistan and India because they think the threat is real.

The public opinnion in India seems also to be to nuke Pakistan.

Pakistan made a medium range missile launch test last week..

Things certainly don't look good there.

I bet that if Pakistan launches nukes in the middle of war, it wont lead to harmageddon. They can nuke themselfs all they want, other countries should just stay out of it.

After all nuclear fallout wont go that far to threaten western societies. It usually rains quite fast, depending what the wind scenario is.  This applies for the few nukes that would be used between these countries, not for 6500 nukes fired allover the world..:)

If India and Pakistan have a Nuclear exchange, Pakistan will probably be completely removed from the map and India not be left with much more.  Not only that... niether of them will have any Nukes left anyway so big deal.
