Very cool.
Do you have some more information about this?
Anyway, here's something from the German side
;)
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

@Angus

as far as I know the V1 following the A254 in your pic was full of fuel and used as a drop tank.

Well I found some stuff on em. Hard to find. One of the more hush hush things me thinks. Government probibly didnt like the fact of biulding german aircraft.

July 9, 1944. Part of wrecked and captured Fiesler Fi-103 "buzz bombs" are delivered to Wright Field, Ohio, for evaluation. Seventeen days later, Ford Motor Company finishes building a copy of the Argus pulse jet motor, and by October, Republic is chosen to build copies of the bomb's airframe. The US-built duplicates are called JB-1 "Loons."

Realy damn hard to find stuff on em. One of the more strage things tho.
