Here we go. Grabbed a 262 to go buff hunting. Picked up 5 kills in the first hop, 2 kills in the second hop, and as I'm rtb to refuel again I see a package inbound our hq area from the west. Rearm, refuel, head south and climb. Was a group of 234s that dropped and ran for home, all of'em at 33-35k. Interesting fight with the 234 I'm chasin. I knock one of his flaps off, look around for any others 234s, and head home cause of gas because I don't want to lose my kite (and my points) because I had to ditch for runnin out of gas.
Uneventful trip home, crusing at 30k. I'm in an idle power descent to set up to land, talkin to the guy who flew the 234 I was chasing, and all of a sudden BOOM!!
Host connection lost.
Tried to reconnect and the host timed out. Killed AH, killed my connect, reconnected, and went back to AH.
I reconnect and hit the hanger to see 200points gone.
In the past few weeks or so I've lost around 800 points to discoes while flying the 262. Never get disconnected when my kite is damaged and I'm rtb, it's always when there's nothing wrong with my plane and I'm working on running up a streak.
Now I understand the need for some kind of penalty to try and prevent people from pulling the plug while flying perk planes and trying to save thier tulips when they get in over their heads.
But this is getting rediculous.
