190 trigger group
« on: June 28, 2002, 05:44:44 PM »
The 190 in AH has the wrong trigger grouping.  Right now the 190 has the 1st trigger assigned to mgs, the 2nd trigger is assigned to whatever is in the outter wings.

For example, the FW190A8.  The 1st trigger would fire the 2 Mg131s in the cowling and the 2 mg151/20s in the wing roots.  The 2nd trigger would fire the 2 mg151/20s in the outter wing.  Or if your carrying 2 Mk-108s it would fire those.

This would really help for those times you carry the 108s in the wings.

Also the 190a8 could carry 2 pods instead of the outter wing guns, this could be either mk-103 pods or pods with 2 mg151/20s each (a whopping 6 mg151/20 total)  These armorments DID exist and were carried.  The 2nd trigger would fire whatever pods were being carryed instead of the outter wing mgs.

Yes, separate trigger for MK108 makes 190a-8/r2 much more effectivel. 30mm is neat for "sure" shots. Saves ammo.

In FW190 pilot could select to fire each combination of guns separatly. He simply had to turn off/on the fuzes for the gun firing circuit.
