EXTRA!! The AH future P47 Skin Wish List Web Page IS Open!
« on: July 07, 2000, 10:24:00 PM »
Hello all,
As promised The Aces High Future P47 Skin Wish List Web page is finally up.  I plan to add to it more when I have more time.  The next big add on will be Skins based off of A Squads historical signifigance rather then the pilot because that is what HTC is heading to.  Its my first page so PLEASE stop by and let me know what you think.
The web site is:

 http://home.kscable.com/warbirds/

I left out the P47D bubbletop due to HTC has beetn me to the punch.  I had the Brazil plane as one of them.

ENJOY!!
Gorf

These are great.  I am wondering how these images are made?  Is there a "blank" P-47 image somewhere (or for that matter any other plane) one could use as a starting point?

Thanks for stopping by Frenchy and Sancho.  I plan to add more in next month, getting ready to move.

Frenchy, if you want to add some please send them to me and I will make a spot for them.  If for some reason you have any trouble sending them to me through the "EMAIL ME" icon on my page.  Send them to my work email.
it is
alexander_smith@hillspet.com  or
smithat@mad.scientist.com

Sancho, what I did was scan in artists renditions of differnt planes from my P-47 book collection.  Put them into Corel Paint and cleaned them up.  Go to the Reference section and those are my books.  Got most of the images from the Aircraft of the Aces series.  I HIGHLY recommend the Zemke's Wolpack book.. VERY VERY detailed on squad info, kills, what day and time the kills made.. etcc.. lots o good pics too.

Again THANKS for stopping by. Look forward to getting those emails Frenchy.

Due you know if "Sugie" is a name of someone or is it a Polish Word.  I could not find that out.

Thanks

Hi there,

While the skins and checker boards are nice I especially liked the bubble canopy version of the jug.
