Good grief guys, get a grip! You took part - you had fun! You are ALL winners! :-)

Ditch the obsession with precise scoring, and just enjoy the flying and the combat. Otherwise you sound like the main thing you enjoy is accountancy - and then we'd have to send for the nice men with the straghtjackets and happy pills for you!

Sure, it's NICE to see the log results. But that just adds details to what you already know. The important hing is fun was had, eh?

I think that we Americans are a bit Extra concerned with scoring. We are appalled at the idea of competition without the prospect of Victory (this is why we have a very hard time with a game where you can have a 0-0 tie, but lets not get into that argument lol)

Of course, for the most part I agree with you. I look at my orders, and whether or not my squadron accomplished them. That's how I rate victory for a TOD. If I am a Side CO, then I am concerned with accomplishing the mission objectives set out by the CMs, but even then its less about points and score.

Without dissing anybody, I have to say as well that KOTH and Wild Weds do nothing for us either. We look for a WW2 experience.

That being said, I will take Niftys post as signs of good things ahead, and we are still having a hoot with the TODs, no matter what.

based on what you just said, Squire. You'll like most of the changes.

btw, TODs are NOT changing at all. Still will be squad based, 3 frames on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons. The TODs will almost always be different theaters on the same weekend, so if you have time to fly both, get your squad signed up for both, or ask a squad in the other if you can fly as a guest.

Hopefully daddog will be ready to announce the new schedule soon.
