A first grade teacher goes to school on her first day. She loves children and can’t wait for her opportunity to mold their young lives.
Her day is going well and at recess she and an older teacher are watching over the children as they play. They notice one little boy making nasty faces at a little girl until she starts crying.
The older teacher gets up, and says “It’s your first day, so I’ll handle this one, he’s trouble. I’ve told that little brat to stop teasing the other kids”
The new teacher says “It’s ok I’ll go talk to him. There are no problem kids they just haven’t been shown enough kindness and given proper guidance.”
“Whatever” says the older teacher.
So she walks up to the little boy and in her sweetest voice says “would you come take a walk with me for a minute?”
So they walk together across the playground and she says to the boy “you know, when I was a little girl they told me if I kept making ugly faces at people that one day my face would stick like that”
The little boy looks up into her eyes and says “You can’t say they didn’t warn you.”
