I've been messing around with FTPing with internet explorer lately, but how do you get files off the web to the local drive? drag/drop works to get my files on the server, but can't do that to get them from the server to local drive. copy/paste doesn't work either. Sling me some wisdom 'puter boys.

HB I use WS-FTP for all FTP needs.  easy to use, 2 way transfers without problems.  The free version suits all my needs.

WS-FTP here. I am a teacher, so it is free to me. It works flawlessly. You can use the light version for free. Get it at Tucows or Shareware.com
