What is the TOD?

TOD stands for Tour of Duty. This is a weekly event that takes place every Friday night for 3 weeks. It is a "historical" event that requires squads to fly cooperatively to complete objectives. Each frame lasts about 2 hours and you only have "1" life.  It can be some of the most intense flying you can experience in Aces High.  http://events.hitechcreations.com/

There are only two ways to participate in the TOD.

1st - To be in a squad that is registered and active in the TOD.

2nd - To sign up as a guest with any of the squads that are registered and active in the TOD.

Most squads welcome guests. In fact out of the 18 squads participating 16 of them are looking for guests. If you would like to fly as a guest just go to the TOD page and contact any of the squads listed.
 

We will also be starting up a Saturday TOD very soon. Registration for that event is open and we are looking for more squads to sign up.

fellas this is no joke TOD is absolutely the best thing about AH. As good as AH is TOD makes it so much better.

Give it a shot as a guest. I am almost certain you will love it.

Once that happens you'll look to get your squad or to get in a squad that flies in it regularly.

The folks that put this thing together aren't perfect but its up to the squads to make tod what it is.

Theres room for ya. We want you there. This isn't just an event for experts or veterans. Its for all of us.

I have not enjoyed AH this much since I first started playing and got invited into a squad.  I cannot stress how much I enjoy flying TOD.

Thank you Wotan (JV44) for allowing me and my squadies to fly with you during TOD.  I have not felt that my contribution to an effort meant so much in a long time.

Simply put, this is an oppurtunity to fly and also to prove yourself.

One life.  That's all you have, but YOU can tilt the scales of the war.  That is what I find enjoyable about TOD.  Your effort can change everything.
