I just upgraded to an AMD Athlon-XP 2.0ghz cpu, along with a new motherboard (has the VIA chipset and already installed the Via 4-1 drivers), and 512m DDR ram.

My problem is this, I can log into the Main Arena with no problems, however as soon as I attempt to go to the runway in a plane the game CTD's instantly. This does not happen in offline mode. I can fly offline no problem.....like thats any fun ;)

I am running Window's 98 SE. I have directx 8.1 installed and am using a SB Live XGamer sound card and a Radeon DDR 64 video card. I have the latest drivers installed for my sound and video cards. I was using all of this before I upgraded from a PIII 700.

Any ideas?

Just went and played in H2H, everything worked perfectly.....freaking wierd.

OK...new info, cant fly in New MA, Old MA or dueling arena. Everything thing else works as advertised......more wierdness...

though it won't be much worth...

you seem to be running damn good hardware.... so.. why are you running such an old OS?

I'd recommend win2k pro or winXP pro with that setup.  Either one should blow win98se in that setup.
