anyone tried Directx 8.2 ?
« on: October 30, 2002, 09:27:59 AM »
I see it's out and was wondering if anyone has tried it and noticed any improvement ?

*edit*
I'm at work and can't try it but I mirrored it on my website in case anyone wants it.

NOTE.. this was included with CFS3 and isn't available elsewhere...

use at your own risk but reports are good so far.

Guys, check out AGW for DX8.2 info...seems that more than a few are reporting better than good results.

Why no mention of DX 8.2 on the Microsoft DirectX website? They do speak of a beta version of DX 9.0, however.
