JERUSALEM - There is "clear evidence" that Israeli forces committed war crimes during the fighting in the Palestinian cities of Nablus and Jenin this year, Amnesty International says.

INDEPTH: Israel and the Palestinians

Amnesty said in a report Monday that Israel carried out "unlawful killings, torture and ill-treatment of prisoners, wanton destruction of hundreds of homes."

Soldiers used Palestinians as human shields while hunting militants in the West Bank cities, blocked access to ambulances and left the dead and wounded lying in the streets. "

Before you get all in an uproar.

"Amnesty has also accused Palestinian suicide bombers of crimes against humanity. "

Here's a link to the actual report.

Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

We could bring up Beirut too, but that's another story.

one reason or another the bombings have declined, I'd say it's working better than what they were doing before

Their goal is not "To Stop Terrorists" - it's to stop particular (enemy) terrorists. If there is no way to avoid having terrorism in the world, there is still distinction whether it is terrorism by us or against us. May be all the same to you but quite different to some.

By the same token, the Israelis also eliminated a couple of militants via car bomb today.  Another car bomb took out some suspected al Queyda operatives in Yemen on the same day the US ambassador was there.
