Its actually been discussed quite a bit in regards to the U.S.  Ever since 1989.

They are continually weighing the potential for hysteria vs the actuall effectiveness of the training.

when i was young we used to have earthquake drills..

never induced hysteria for us and didn't cause any more earthquakes than we already had..

but you never can say how people will react...some will laugh, some will cry, some will just drive slower in the fast lane...

The way i see it, if someone breaks into your home you hide under the bed or you smack the guy over the head with a lamp

If you go to buy some beef jerky and the store gets held up you hide behind the chip rack or you double-leg the guy and stomp on his nuts. (no, not the ones made by planters that he is holding.)

If you happen upon a car accident you slowly drive around the scene not making eye contact with anyone, or you get your butt out of your car and haul people out of the car that is on fire. You then apply whatever first aide you know (eg. if it squirts, he/she is hurt.)

If watermelon starts going down and stuff starts blowing up, you stand there like a tard waiving your arms around and panicking, or you get under/behind something that is really big and heavy but wont fall over on top of you. You also grab whoever is in arms reach and bring them with you.

any questions?

So... read the documentation... make sure YOU know what to do.

When the crisis hits, just bark out orders. It's amazing how many people will just do what they are told.
