There aren't too many fences that will stop an Elk or deer from jumping them..6-ft. chainlink is nothing for game to jump over.

Agreed Rip. I have seen whitetail deer go over 8 foot fences easily before and I shot one that decided to take out the better part of 50 feet of a barbed wire fence around the pasture next to the land I was hunting on. I had to go replace it for the farmer that afternoon which was a squeak in the cold and rain. But that deer sure did taste good after going through the stationary tenderizer.
