Thank you Jarbo!

I'm sure the Luftwaffe pilots will be pleased to see all of their toys under the CT Christmas Tree this week, as well.

Why is the spit14 perked and 190-D9, 109-G10 and P51D aren't?

the tempest totally outclasses the spit14... if anything the temp needs perking.

i was in CT earlier, almost all front and secondary line LW fields had either FH's down, or fuel reduced to  25-50%.

personally i don't fly the weenie jets, and this behavior (in retalitation for the jets - ironic since almost all i saw was temps and spit14's with a few 51d's thrown in) made it a little less than enjoyable - although it was fun slapping the allied perkies around with a 109g10 and 30mm.
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.
I'm not perfect, but I am closer to it than you are.

Not every Luftwaffe type was in Jets.  I was in a formation that got bounced by 262s last night. What was really great is about 2 minutes later, while trying to get the 262s to energy, 2 109Gs showed up. A hell of a fight broke out, as a 190D stuck his nose into the fight too, but compressed and augered. This was the best action I saw all night, with the most intense fighting, Cjcobu, and Promsch of IV/JG51 out flew and out fought us for nearly 10 minutes. Guys! If they would have had 1 or 2 more 109s with them, they would prob have turned the tables.
The 262 weenies werent much help to them.

Eagler.

Is the 109F your main ride? I can kind of see why the 109G2, or G6, might not be perfered over the Franz. It seems if I was a 109 Expertain, I would be licking my chops for the G-10.
I was always a 190 guy, and never quite got any good in the 109.
With FWs the later the version the better I liked it.
