Hi All,
If anyone is interested here is a fantasy golf league that I subscribe to.
It makes those sunday afternoons a little more interesting :)

Sorry to do this to you, but you brought it to the O'Club...

FANTASY FREEKING GOLF!?!?  ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!

I love golf.  I love golfing and I like to watch golf on TV.  But I have to admit that the idea of a fantasy golf league is one of the funniest things I've ever heard.  Its like having a fantasy bowling league or a fantasy billiards league.

LOL

Yep Fantasy Golf
Just keeping track of total payouts for tournaments
Nice little payout at the end if your lucky
Me, I like to gamble, so it is just another diversion :)

As for golf being a sport, I agree probably as much a sport as Flying Aces High is flying, but perhaps the skill factor should be considered.
But, if you look at professional golf these days, the ones who are in good shape and are athletic are the ones who are winning most of the time.

Personally I can't hit a driver over 300 yards, so I think some athleticism is required to do so.

ok.. so atheletes do better than non-atheletes

skill?  YES  (hard as hell to be consitent)

but a sport?  puhleaze.. how can it be a sport when the 'regulars', who play all the time, are overweight and drive carts around.
now the guys that carry their own stuff get some walking in over 18 holes, I'll give them that.

I think being an athelete gives on the edge in a lot of things due to having a clearer mind that goes along with a healthy body.
They (atheletes) probably do better at a lot of things.
