You could probably accomplish the same thing with a Havoc and a gunner, or a single B-17 with a gunner, no bombs.

I DON'T want to see Vulcan's cannon. I just DON'T.

Never bring this up again. Not EVER.

For the hell of it I dived down and flew right tru the center of the bait ball firing my guns. I got 2 kills with out moving the stick or aiming

Fun stuff.  But that goo get's all over the canopy is a squeak to get off...

That and if your cockpit isn't set up with the beer holder thingy that swings too and fro as you do the "pilot thing",  it gets all over..

I won't fly a tiffy for that very reason..

Damm Brits..

I dread the first up of the tour Steve..

It's either champagne and speeches, or my lady removing ammunition from the household in a rapid manner with the dog learning in a very personal way that there is indeed no escape from a fenced yard..

Somethin about flying the first 5 or 6 sorties and dying every time that gives the dog a limp..

I haven't figured out why yet..

I'd ask him, but haven't seen him in a couple of days..

..so far I haven't had to go lookin..

But there's always tomorrow.

But I'm ever hopefull, and I imagine he is too.

Put a gun in a C-47 and the 'Perk the Goon' whines will soon follow.

AKAK read the thread dude... I will accept the perking of the mighty brick layer.. it's lethality would be spectacularrrrrrrr.
No guns!!!!

Palef... camel dung.... umm  Ok  but, I'm not collecting them for ammo though.  I no scoop da poop.

Kill shooter.. that's a tough one  but I think the bricklayer goon should be exempt. How frickin funny would it be to see your brick put a "pilot wound" on ANY plane.   lolololol

The Russian Li-2, their copy of the C-47,  especially the Li-2G, with the ASH-62 engines matching the output of the C-47's engines -- except that it had a 20mm cannon in a dorsal turret. Loads of fun.
