Hi,

Ok here is a list of all my current computer gaming attachments.

1) CH Yoke USB
2) CH Fighter Stick USB
3) CH Pro Pedals USB
4) Thrustmaster Cheapo USB Wheel and naff pedals
5) Logitech game pad.

Problem:

About to move house, and my new "Computer" room backs onto the main bed room. As im in the UK I stay up till stupid times playing. At the moment this aint a problem, but when I move my wife has said the CH Pedals make to much noise when the move.

Now is there anyway I can utilize any of the above hard ware to still play Aces High? or even add to it cheaply ie: The throttle part of an old X36, or even replace the lot with a X45.

Dont like the sticks with a twist rudder, dont mind the bar type on the X45 (Though not sure about Thrustmaster top gun jobbies).

Any ideas would be great.

What he's neglecting to mention is that he kicks the rudder pedals as hard as he can while yelling out loud.

no they do clung when they hit the stops, and the bearing noise is pretty loud..

might thy using some grease in them.

If by cheap wheel you mean the Modena, I think its a damn nice wheel for the money:D

Yes it is a modena wheel.

Dont know why I bought it, dont play driving games any more on the PC.

Is the X45 throttle detachable from the rest of the stick like the one on the X36 used to be?

A little grease goes a long way to silencing bearings.

As for silencing the stoppers on the pedals, try padding them with silicone "footers" - those little pads with adhesive on the ends that are often stuck to the bottom of awards and trophies.
