Either there is no problem with him gassing and killing both his people and others or there is a problem with it.  From the articles you link you imply you have a problem with it, and yet at the same time have a problem with stopping it?

Such a strong position you take upon that fence.

I'm glad your country doesn't help Saddam any more but it is not understandable for Europeans that the same country and some of the very same people (Rumsfeld), which  have armed him to the teeth and overlooked easyly all the horrible things,he did, including daily use of WMDs in the times he was a friend of the USA nowadays make a new Hitler out of him and goin to war with Iraq without any UN support.

That has a very bitter taste for many people around the globe.

Regards Blitz

4. WHEN WE ASKED FOR HELP TOSSING A MURDERING DESPOT IN VILOATION OF WAR TREATY AND UN RESOLUTIONS YOU DENIED HAVING SPINES AND THEREBY ENCOURAGED SAID **SLAM** MURDERING **SLAM** DESPOT **SLAM** HIS SUPPORTERS **SLAM**AND OTHER ANTI-WESTERN ELEMENTS IN THE ARAB WORLD TO DEFY THE COALITION FORCES, THE UN RESOLUTIONS AND TREATYS WITH WESTERN NATIONS. **SLAM**

I get pretty tired of listening to the dribble from the other side of the pond, about how we have "no right" to be in Iraq.
We ain't the "white knight" of the world, but we have stepped up and helped pull more nations butts of the fire than ANY other nation, even though said nations later turn and bit America on the butt in thanks.
Yeah, we could just sit back and let things go, but eventually we would have to do something.  The whole world would have to.
I'd rather do it now than have a cemetery in Kuwait like this one:
