XP and the keyboard port
« on: April 10, 2003, 03:38:54 PM »
I'm going to upgrade my operating system from Windows ME to XP Pro.

The problem I'm facing is that my gameport CH Pro Throttle's programmable keys won't work any more because of some kind of bullsheiet of the OS locking down the keyboard port.

Is there some way I can still use my throttle or do I have to buy a USB version? Or will they still work, I just won't be able to reprogram them?

I couldn't find a 'work around' and finally bought and entire USB suite.   It was expensive, but they work great.   I got everything from Best Buy online with no problems.
