The Cactus Air Force, one of the online flying communities
dating back to the old Air Warrior DOS days (ten plus years)
is currently considering adding some new pilots to its
ranks.
  The Cactus Air Force, or "CAF" as we call ourselves
consists of dedicated team players who meet and
fly together online, but maintain a "community" outside
the Aces High arena to maintain the friendships and
comraderie for which we are famous.

The Cactus Air Force (CAF) is still looking for pilots.

Your skill level isnt really a factor.  New Pilots have the benifit of learning from very experienced veterans and more skill pilots will find organisation and varied mission roles a challange.

The CAF is active in main arena missions and Joint Operations.  If you like the idea of team work, then we are worth a look.  We are a Rook squad in the main arena.  we also like to fly together in events and scenarios.

The Best part of being a CAF for me is the friendships outside the game.  We fly together, but we also actively chew the fat on our private forum.   A lot of good hearted joking goes on there.   We also try to have an anual gathering each year for those that can attend.  Its a chance to meet face to face and try some of BHs home brew.  

The only thing is we have an extended recruit period.  roughly 3 weeks.  This give you a chance to see if the Cactus Air Force is the right squad for you.   You can join us in our weekly squadnight (currently thursday) and visit or forum and get a feel for us.  If at that time your still interested,  your in.

Our pilots come from all walks of life, and range from early 20's to 60+.   There backgrounds cover most all walks of life, from educators and professionals to mechanics and students.  At this time we dont accept those under 18, but noone under as ever applied.

any age is good, as long as we feel that you are capable to control your selfs, i do believe.  I am 16 and have been with the cactus air force for a year or so now. the cactus air force as helped me with real life situations, they are not only a pilot in the air, but a good friend on the ground.  They are an all around good group of pilots.


P.S- Odd, you handle is OddUSMC, for one it is not handle you moron .  are you a truck driver??? it is call-sign. and your new CALL-SIGN is OddCAF.

Just Punting this up again.

The CAF is still very interested in pilots,  Skill is not important.  We can help you hone that.  

We really could use Guys that are interested in alot of Fighter/Dive-bomber action.  

We also are in need of guys that like Bomber Action, In fact we could really use a few guys that would like to learn to be some bomber experts.
