Need advice on new SUV

Unsafe by design, not to mention gas guzzling, enviroment ruining asssticks.  90% of the people that drive them are soccer moms with cell phone in one hand, and slapping their little brat with the other.  I'd be willing to bet 80% or so of the people have never engaged the 4 Wheel drive.  They are the most wasteful, pointless vehicle ever designed, ohhhh minivans are no longer cool lets go buy a $50,000 4X4 offroad/towing vehicle and use it to pick up the brats/go get grocercies:mad:

Well sure they won't handle like a car, but despite my thoughts to the contrary before driving it, my Tahoe handled quite well.  It definitely wasn't meant for anything but on-road driving despite being a 4X4.

I just wish people would drive more responceable. I mean really they need to watch where they stick there big arse SUV's. Since I went from my SUV to my Sportscar I can't believe how unaware people are when they drive these things.

Minus the fact that I almost plowed over by a soccer mom in her damn Surburban This morning on my way to the office.

heh the h2 was just rated the worst vehicle you could spend money on. the really funny thing is that people conplained most about the mpg. what kind of moron would buy a suv and complain about gas costs.

Anything bigger than my 98 4runner is ostentatious.

A buddy of mine bought a first-generation Explorer when they were new because he had a 2nd kid.  He was amazed at how it was always full of kid crap so when it became time to get a new vehicle he decided to buy the bigger Expedition so he'd have more cargo room, but then THAT became full of kid crap, too.  He developed a theory - that kid crap will expand to consume all available space, no matter how big your cargo area is.

And yet, somehow, my parents made do with mid-70s Buick LeSabre 4-door sedans.  With no kid crap in the trunk.
