No Kidding!!  I can't stand Bill Walton!  What's he gonna do now that his meal ticket has been knocked off?

Bill Walton would earn more money and more respect if he put on one of those silver Laker's cheerleader outfits and danced around center court at halftime!!

naw, this will only be good if the Lakers get dismantled and REALLY start to suck like the Bulls did.  That was some good fun watching the Bulls swallow the last couple of years.

Now if only Steinbrenner would close up the pocketbook and let the Yankees fall onto hard times.  I'd start liking baseball again.  :)

On the other hand - If Karl Malone goes to LA next year....  Watch out but that will be a really tough team to beat!  And just think of who much more trash talking they will do!

If Kobe sticks around.  I'm thinking he might leave LA to get away from sharing the spotlight with Shaq.  A couple of teams have gobs of cap room to afford him too.  The Pistons have a lot of room, no true star, and are a very good team.  Kobe would love to play there.  He'd be the #1 guy, and have a great defense around him.  Not sure it'll happen, but I'd give it about even odds he'll bolt LA.
