I am still big on C.  Although I have taken a liking to PHP recently.  For a scripting language it is pretty nice.  For certain things PHP is pretty sweet.  Still prefer C though for the real work.

Been playing a bit with MPEG2 at home.  Really neat compression architecture.  Wife got me a DVD burner for my birthday, so I have to know how to write to it.

Video production is fun too, if you saw my saber thingy    The Video Factory program I bought for $49 has been immensely entertaining.  What good is a home movie without a light sword stuffed in it?  

PHP is pretty neat, I bought a Personal's Software package that uses it and MySQL.  Yes, I'm running it on a Linux machine...darn that Webmin program makes it easy for a WinDweeb like me to have a sharp Linux Server (RH 7.2)

Dot Net...yea, I'm hearing the same things.  No updates for it ina year.  Hmmmm   Pretty neat to watch it compile an EXE.

I have a full version of Maya, so I am playing with some ideas.

I have discovered than Microsoft's MPEG2 CODEC is pretty good at decoding, but quite horrible at encoding anything but stills.

So first thing is to write a good MPEG2 CODEC.  Unless there is another one around that will suit my videophile requirements.

I am in the middle of that one now.  Oh,..I am talking about home folks.  Yes, I do have hobbies.

Well, you make some teling points Sir Saur!   I certianly agree with the Subaru (sounds like a Survivor Tribe) and my firewall won';t let any pictures through anyway.  But, if you erased all the driviel the Libs post here, expecially the Weaz man, then this board would become frighteningly horrifyingly boring!
