My company uses Lotus Notes, and I'm not terribly happy with it. fyi.

mostly scheduling personal schedules and resources (meeting rooms, vehicles, equipment, etc)

I'd like something that allows web-acess and is customizable to the point of controlling individual access (who sees what, who is allowed to edit, etc etc)

Team Agenda is the only software I've ever had any experience with (besides MS Exchange Server which I avoid

an account i go to sometimes called Accenture has a room / equipment reservation software system called EMS

works good i guess .. has login access and can send email confirmations. dunno about web interactivity, but is this along the lines you are looking for?

where i work we use 2 different programs :

1. is RESERVE (for the GM based clients) - with reserve we book conference rooms , equipment , pool cars.

2. READYSOFT - SCHEDUALER - this is for or other accounts (ie Whirlpool, Delphi) - i played with the for a few days it seemed pretty simple to use but im not too familuar with it.

Out of the 2 i like reserve the best as it a nice FINDER function.
My IT guy like the READYSOFT program + i think its a lot cheaper!

My company uses Lotus Notes for email, calendaring, meeting scheduling, and conference room/resource scheduling. It's nice to have it all in one product/UI and not have to bounce around.

While there is a browser interface for Notes mail, I do not have any experience with it.

Used to be that Lutus Notes was the more scalable application. I think thats what wlfgng is asking. However nowadays, you can get pretty scalable even with Exchange. You need someone who knows Exchange very well, is savy in in VB coding, and also some LDAP knowledge. Then you can do all sorts of things with your Exchange server, even make it talk to Lotus notes servers.
