Fabulous work, Mini D, many thanks.
From the Perked Planes and MA Impact charts, at first I thought a case could be made for deperking the F4U-4, Spit XIV, Ta 152H, and Me163B. After all, they only rank between 27th and 39th of the 51 fighters listed.
But in the Vs. Fighters K/D Chart, these perked fighters are the top seven. That's pretty convincing motivation to keep them perked.
And it is thrilling to see that the eighth ranked fighter is the P-47D-11, and 12th is the P-47D-25. WTG Jugheads!
Still ... somehow ... I get the feeling that Aces High might even be more fun if the bottom four of the seven perked fighters were deperked. We often get to wring these out unperked in the Combat Theater, and some don't seem to live up to their reputations as well as others.
Certainly keep perked the F4U-1C with its dominance and limited numbers in real life. Keep perked the Me 262 which is definitely in a class by itself. To me the borderline is the Tempest, which I'd keep perked.
Below that borderline, though, I'd deperk the F4U-4 which although often called the top prop fighter bomber of WW-II, doesn't seem that awesome in one on one fighting in Aces High. I think the Spit XIV is a more formidable fighter, but I'd deperk it too.
The Ta-152H seems not that imposing unless it gets alt and speed, and the Me163B is properly quite limited in range and impact. So deperk them both.
What do the rest of you stats experts think? Do the latest stats justify any change in fighter perking or do they validate the status quo?
