How about flying boats?

He115
Blohm und Voss
Dornier
Sunderland
Walrus
Cant wotsitsname (apologies, RA)
Emily
Grumman Duck
Catalina
Bound to have been a Russina amphibian plane or two, as well..

Hmmnn... all would be nice. But then - the current planeset has some huge gaps in it already.

Bearing that in mind, I'd go for the Catalina (used byall the major Allies),  Emily, and either a B&V, Dornier or He115

As for marking subs - just drop bright yellow dye, and radio thelocation you drop it at, then folks coming in for the kill can have all teh fun of trying to spot the slowly spreading and fading patch of dye... much better than having a hideously unrealistic blip on the GPS...

PS: we need parachute flares more than dye bombs, though... :-)

Is that "Count" what's his name?

Or Cant Herone?

;-)

Parachute flares is a great idea--in fact, loadouts need to be re-considered in general IMO.  For instance, I doubt the Boston was only flown with either 4 500s or 4 250s.  Likely there were some loadouts with 100s or additional 250s.

And a choice of bomb type would be nice:  He, AP, Incendiary, etc.
