Im with Lazs.
In the UK the highest fatality rate on bikes seems to be the born again bikers.
That is regular bike riders 20 odd years ago, raised a family and come back to bikes, jump on and basically die.
They do not appreciate the tremendous performance leaps that have occured in that time until its too late.
Oh wait, never mind we are talking about HD's. (cue cute smiley thing)
Insurance companies over here are now refusing to insure anybody without 3 years no claim discount on machines over 900cc last i heard. Although some have broken rank and will accept 2 years.
We recommend anybody who has been away a long time take a refresher training course or an advanced rider training program.
With the huge increase in road traffic over the last 20 years on the UK's roads you need to learn defensive driving which was not much of an issue years ago.
Anyway take care and learn the bikes limits slowly and safely.
