It's great ya know.

Havn't had to have any dental work done in over 15 years, it's changed a bit.

I cycled to the dentist, had a wisdom tooth out and cycled home again.  The trip home was easily twice as fast as the ride there........and I'm convinced it's because novocain has copious levels of adrenalin in it these days.  Now that it's wearing off I feel kinda weak.

Boy you opened yourself up to the question of whether or not work was required or whether you actually went to the dentist...you being a Brit and all.  ;) :p

Yes thank you, Heckle and Jeckle.

I've had check ups thank-you-very-much.  :p

I just never needed anything doing until now.....AND it was only a wisdom tooth.  :D  I get to keep the other 3 cos there's room for them so even with that one I lost in a scrap I've still got more teeth than you two, so pllllppppt.

Jenga hits THAT hard huh?

..and you certainly have more teeth than me...dunno about Rip.

Funny because my sons now INSIST on brushing their teeth, and Sam (the youngest) wants his brushed all the time, after I had a rear tooth crack on me and I had to get it yanked.

One night, soon after the extraction (about two months ago) they were both complaining about having to brush their teeth.  So I told them, "If you don't brush your teeth THIS will happen" and I showed them the hole where the tooth used to be in my mouth.

It scared them.

...and yes, technically I'm British.  :)

Oh! You know a method for eliminating plaque and tartar that forms beneath the gum line that is inevitable with the consumption of ANY food? :D

Here's a kicker...I took my sons to a bi-yearly check up (and cleaning) last friday, both got a clean bill of health and excellent teeth! Dad, OTOH, had a small cavity that I must go back and have repaired..they got a BIG kick out of that one. :)

It's probably just that traffic across the channel is lighter when heading towards Englad than it is when heading to France.  If only they had dentists in England, the trip would have seemed a whole lot faster.

LOL i just had to had a root chanel (1st one ever) and this girl in my office scared the poop out of me telling me hers hurt like heck after it was done and the it was so bad she had to have Vicodines to kill the pain.
Pffffffffff

they numbed my up (my doc does it the best he goes real slow and you dont even feel the needle)
drilled it out probed it with them crazy needle/electrodes for like 20 min then finished it up.

i left with a scrip for codine.
I only needed it that 1st day after , after that it was fine and no pain anymore and i can chew on that side of my mouth once again!
Yaaaahhh
