Well

If you get suicide feelings on grass detox then imagine Heroine :(

If he gets thru this alone then he must be one of the strongest men ive heard of mentally...

I got suicidal from benzo-diazapine withdrawal not from weed :)  but I understand your point and that's why I'm worried for our friend.

Nash please don't do this alone!

Depression and suicide are actually relatively common for people withdrawing from marijuana.

Depression yes.

Suicide? nah, maybe by an mix of heavy usage of MJ and some other drugs.

Thing is, all the thoughts comes back at once, you cant focus your mind on anything else then the troubles you have at the moment...

Dreams etc come back heavy, and they can be a ***** if you havnt had a dream for 6+ years...

But with Mj you get normal after about a week or two.. but Herione.... I dont know about making it on your own with Heroine...

Addicts who stop using marijuana will often get severely depressed.  Depression in general causes suicide.  Much higher incidence of suicide among depressed people than the general public.  I'm not talking about my own observations, just stuff from medical studies and addiction doctors.

Also remember that people who have mental health problems (and are thus more prone to suicide regardless of drug use) are also more likely to use drugs or alcohol, "self-medication".

Hence my belief that for some reason clinical depression is a naturally triggered mechanism to lure individuals away from the gene pool.

But ironically, those who endure and surpass depression can be considered stronger than most.
