The Tsar was able to save his army to fight another day, however, so the battle for Moscow may not yet be over. Meanwhile, in Vienna, the Russians have shoved their way into the Austrian capital with Turkish assistance. Unlike the Russian army defending Moscow, however, the German garrison in Vienna had no line of retreat, and was thus liquidated.
Elsewhere, the Turks suffered a setback by losing their army in Tyrolia, along with the province itself, to German agression. This action has united the Franco-German alliances' armies, which stretches the continent from Tunis in the SW to St. Petersburg in the NE.
Meanwhile, the French and Turks continue to attempt to out-guess each other in the Mediterranean. This season, it has amounted to nothing but bounces for everyone.
The whole world watches with baited breath as the German fleet in the North Sea continues to cruise to an unknown destination. Could the destination be Bremen, or Belgium, or Spain or Portugal? Wouldn't that throw a sticky wicket into this situation!
