WTG on Clipboard

I noticed they took the suggestion of removing all clipboard radar etc.. when you minimize it. This will really help with lag in the  Online arenas... GJ HTC keep up the fantastic work.

Now if we could get the AH clipboard look BACK, I'd
 be happier.

I really don't like this new clipboard nor do I see any
reason why it needed to be changed.

For one thing, in the hangar that ridiculous pop-out-
of-the-side seletion thingy obscures much of what you would
want to click on behind it.

The clipboard "grab and drag" handle area is WAY too small
as are the [+ - ]  buttons unless you blow the sucker up
to a size here it fills the entire screen. ( 1024x768 here )

All in all, I'd y the new clipboard is a step backwards!

I disagree.  I really like the new clipboard.  In general, the fold-out is very useful.  The only time it's not is, as you said, while in the hangar.  It would be nice if there was a fold-in button.  :)

I like the new clipboard but I also found it to be very anoying while in the hanger, wouldn't it be nice if it were transparent?

Or like someone else suggested, integrate all the fuel selection, armament etc to the clipboard in a drop down menu of sorts, or Right click on the plane, and you can set "Favorite" Loadouts, and it'll store certain loadouts you've designed, i.e. Jabo, Fighter, Light Fighter.

Or you could just hit Esc, and minimize the clipboard.  :aok

Most annoying thing about it is that the thing flips open to the left. Aside from the wrongness of that it doesn't move itself over to bring the portions off screen back onscreen. You end up having to grab the clipboard and pull it over to the right so you can see the options on the left.

The "grabbing" part is MOST annoying now sine there seems
to be one, and only one, plave where you can grab the
 damned thing.

If this new "style" is gonna stay, at least let us grab the
edges, top or bottom to be able to drag it. The +/-
spots are way too small as well, IMO.

Lol Sarge i did not post as to why you use it.
You did.

I merely commented that i find it funny that somebody actually furballs with the map permanently open.

Whatever floats your boat i guess, so on that theme whether your offended at my amusement or not, fact remains i am still amused ;)

at the convention, the flip out side thing flipped in and out depending on what you were doing.  I am sure in the final version it will do the same.
