RUHR Scenario POLL
« Reply #30 on: November 10, 2003, 01:12:30 PM »
I have already voted "A".

Just to add that, for me, splitting the frames of a particular Scenario between times that are highly inconvenient for some and then highly inconvenient for others would destroy the continuity of a Scenario. Which is a major factor for me.

And I am sure it would lead added problems in the command chain, training etc.

I have to go with:

   E

Remembering the great AW multiframe scenarios,
I think 7 frames is just the ticket. Four frames just
 doesn't "immerse" one enough, IMO.

 However, WTF happened to Sunday?

I'd much more prefer to see both Sat and Sun
frames as well as Tuesday or Wednesday frames,
spreading the entire event over a 2 1/2 week time
 span with 8 frames.

slightly off-topic but relevant in a way:-

"Gypsy Baron

Remembering the great AW multiframe scenarios, .."

I remember the AW weekends, rolling right the way through from about 10 pm Friday Europe (5pmEST) to 10 pm Sunday Europe.

Signed up in two hour slots.

A bit of a stretch on the domestic relationship but....  :)

What ever happened to 7blue ??!! (usually the organiser)

ummm don't mean to derail the thread here but if someone wants to start another one....

POLL RESULTS

36 people took the time to vote.

Of those

25 voted for Option A - No change

10 voted for B or C or D or E broken down as follows.
B - 1
C - 1
D - 2
E - 6

So it looks like there is SOME interest in a Weekday frame.

But there is more than enough interest in NOT doing just a US Time weekday frame to kill the idea.

The only workable concept was to have a weekday eve EURO time frame AND a weekday eve US time frame. The logistics to do both would be too cumbersome.

Thanks for your input and help in bringing this idea forward to the community. Maybe we can try again later with a different idea or approach.
