First solo in a military jet!
« on: November 13, 2003, 08:37:00 PM »
All the pain and suffering of 4 years at the AF Academy were validated this morning when I finally got to go solo in a jet.  Sure, it was only the T-37, but it's still a whole lot different than flying a 172 around.

That is too cool. What's it like? I can see the smile through the mask:cool:

Man that's great. I always thought the t-37 was a pretty cool little plane myself.

Congrats. BTW there is nothing wrong with the tweety bird. Nice plane in a small package.

I'm flying out of Vance Raub.  Probably our jets that buzz you.  And it is a fun little plane Mav, but its end is in sight.  Should all be retired in the next couple years to make room for the new T-6s.

What plane do you think you'll get to fly once you're done? I assume you're approaching the end of your training.
