Yeah, you and he have something in common! I think you can figure it out by his comment in January, 2003 of this year.

I am so close to center on the graph it's silly. There is no one really close but the closest is Gerhard Schroder and he is definitely to the right a significant amount from my graph position.

Now what is the significance? Not much AFAIAC, interesting site however.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Some of those statements are very interesting.  Take the first one:

"If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations."

So this presumes that the interests of corporations are necessarily opposite the interests of humanity?  I find this rather odd.

If you are going to assume that corporations will invariably use force and bribery to attain their ends then your answer means a much different thing than if you assume that harmful corporate behavior will be held in check by rule of law.

This statement is kind of like saying:  “"If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve the interests of women rather than the interests of men."  The underlying presumption does not necessarily make any sense at all.

I answered:  “Strongly disagree” to the statement:  “The only social responsibility of a company should be to deliver a profit to its shareholders.”  But I suspect my disagreement takes a completely different form than that of a lot of people who answered the question identically.

Here is a shorter quiz where the questions appear to be somewhat less interpretive:

Yep... I agree hooligan.  They asked to agree or disagree with drastically extreme views.

I find it odd that someone would find the need to generate a political label maker.

Sadly, he is correct. We are not a perfect nation, but we can strive to be a better one.

Incidently, I put my "Looney Liberal Extreme" hat on and took the test again.  Mostly "Strongly disagree" on the questions, and "Strongly Agree" for the few that applied .  I came out -5 in both Economic Left/Right and Libertarian/Authoritarian.

On the short test I was right on the line between centrist and left-liberal.  I'm more liberal socially than I am economically.  (Personal 70%; Economic, 40%)

Interesting....on the short poll I scored on the border of Centrist and Left liberal with a leaning towards the authoritarian...
quite different from the other quiz.

Hooligan is right, there were a number of 'do you beat your wife every night' type of questions on the other quiz.

Still, it's fun to try.
